What are the ingredients in your Mineral Makeup?

Our Mineral Makeup includes the following ingredients: mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and iron oxides. Our products have a FDA Sun Block Rating of SPF 20 due to the high Titanium & Zinc content.

Do all Mineral Makeup brands have the same ingredients?

No. While there are a lot of mineral makeup brands available, you need to check the ingredients to ensure you are getting the real deal. Some of the ingredients you should look for are mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and iron oxides. Zinc and Titanium act as the sun block/sunscreen.

Some mineral makeup contains fillers like flours, talcs, corn starch, rice powders, and this should be avoided at all costs. Another ingredient that you should avoid is Bismuth Oxychloride. Bismuth is a skin irritant and can cause itching, rashes, and cystic acne in some cases. Always check the ingredients to ensure it does not contain any Bismuth.

I have acne prone skin. Should I be using Mineral Makeup at all?

Absolutely! Mineral makeup is very good for sensitive skin and helps bring your acne under control. If you would like to reduce the redness on your skin, we recommend the green concealer.

How much of Mineral Makeup do I need?

Mineral Makeup comes in jars of a variety of sizes and you can buy as much as you need. If you are a new user, you might be wondering how much you need.

Small jars contain 3 grams of Mineral Makeup and will last for 3 months
Large jars contain 6 grams of Mineral Makeup and will last for 6 months 
Jumbo jars contain 12 grams of Mineral Makeup and will last for 12 months
Concealers come in jars of 2 grams and will last for 6 months

In mineral makeup, less is more. This means, you just need to use a little bit of the mineral makeup to get the coverage you need. So, a Small jar will last you for at least 3 months and a Jumbo jar can last you for a year or more.

If this is the first time you are trying out mineral makeup, we recommend you start with the Small jar.
